UNISON Legal Services
UNISON provides the widest range of legal help for union members in the UK. We offer advice and assistance not just with work issues, but for you and your family outside the workplace too.  
UNISON rules require a member to have 13 weeks paid membership in order to qualify for legal assistance. This means 13 weeks membership prior to a member knowing assistance would be needed on an issue. Legal assistance may include advice or representation.

Co-operative Funeral Care
Co-operative Funeralcare is working closely with UNISON to support members in their times of need. As a member of UNISON you can get advice over the phone or you could just ask for our booklet 'Your guide to funeral care' which answers all the questions you need to know when dealing with a funeral, whether you are arranging a funeral now or simply want to understand what you will need to do when the occasion arises in the future.

Tax Refund Claim Form
Personal Taxation Services provide a 'no refund, no fee' service and will check that you are paying the correct rate of tax. If you are due a tax refund they will complete all the necessary paperwork for the Inland Revenue on your behalf. For this service they will charge 40 per cent of any refund received as their fee, you keep all future savings, there are no other fees and if you are not due a refund there is no charge. If you have received a self-assessment tax return PTS can also provide a comprehensive tax return service for a fixed fee.
